Day 3 – Bag Pipes, Iron Bru, Zoo Visits And Inner Peace…. On To Peebles, The Journey Continues!

Today’s journey takes us from Loch Fyne – with the start accompanied by bag pipes en route to Peebles and the specially arranged local highland games, really looking forward to it after a busy day yesterday which involved posing for an Iron Bru selfie on the Scottish border as we left the English drizzle behind before spending the day in beautiful sunshine.

From there it was time for a little meditation, filming with the BBC who gave us great coverage on local TV before the latest challenge a visit to Edinburgh Zoo and another selfie, this time with a giant terrifying wild animal – or a cute ring-tailed lemur at least!

It was a great day with great camaraderie amongst all the participants – I’m even starting to enjoy my outfit for the duration of the rally!

The evening was together with all the other participants and the first two awards of the rally – and the great news is one of those came to us, Gemini Rotherham, winning the Best Dressed Car in the rally…the perfect end to a great day!

As always though, we are all mindful that this is for a great cause, and for anybody who hasn’t already done so, please show your support by clicking here https://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/CraigHand1 – supporting the development of skills gap solutions for young people into jobs.
