GQA Qualifications, the Fenestration Industryβs leading awarding organisation, will be joining some of the UK glazing industryβs leading companies in Germany as an exhibitor at this yearβs Fensterbau Frontale, the worldβs largest international trade fair for the window industry.
The showβs UK Pavilion, hosted by the Glass and Glazing Federation (GGF), will provide a platform for GQA and other businesses to reach a huge international audience in excess of 100,000 visitors. Due to take place in March in Nuremberg, the showβs UK Pavilion will be the number one destination for visiting UK companies, and is set to occupy 80m2 on the main thoroughfare between Halls 3 and 4. The GGF started the UK Pavilion at Fensterbau 2016 and since then it has gone from strength to strength.
CEO of GQA, Mick Clayton, comments:
βExhibiting at Fensterbau is an extension of our work in the UK and demonstrates our collaboration with a number of partners. Weβre looking forward to showing the rest of the international community the best of what the UK fenestration industry has to offer as well as welcoming UK visitors to the show. I am especially delighted that the pavilion will be providing practical demonstrations of how to install a window. Fenestrology, who will be carrying out the demonstrations are one of the leading training providers in the UK and are exactly the right people to be doing this. At GQA we are passionate supporters of practical training for our industry, and having the opportunity to showcase it in this arena is great news.β
Fensterbau Frontale 2020 will reflect worldwide innovations in windows, doors and facades. Architects, window and facade manufacturers, glazing companies and other specialist members of the trade will be able to view the very latest developments in profile systems, glass in architecture, fixing equipment, hardware, safety equipment, machinery, installation and other product offerings. In addition, there are plans for a special British Reception to be held at the Pavilion on the second day of the show, Thursday 19th March from 12 noon.
