GQA SIGNS UP TO FIT SHOW 2020

GQA Qualifications has once again signed up to take part at the FIT Show. Following encouraging levels of visitors to its stand at this year’s event, the fenestration industry’s awarding body is expecting to enjoy even more engagement with the industry at the 2020 show.

GQA is the sole provider of CSCS cards for the fenestration and glazing industries, and provides nearly fifty fenestration industry relevant qualifications across the UK, delivered nationwide via a network of seventy specialist training centres. The organisation is also a major promoter of practical training for the industry to underpin the many hands-on roles that employees undertake. In addition, GQA is actively involved in the Building Our Skills – Making Fenestration a Career of Choice campaign.

Commenting on GQA signing up for FIT Show 2020, GQA’s CEO, Mick Clayton said:

“We’re huge supporters of the show. We feel that it presents a massive opportunity for us to engage fully with the industry, and to explain how employers can get more involved in our campaign to deliver a better-trained and better-qualified workforce. This campaign is vital to enable the industry to face the challenges ahead. Come and see us on our stand in May – it will be here before we know it!”

Jess Hardisty, PR Manager for the show said:

“We’re really pleased that GQA is returning to FIT Show as part of our 2020 lineup. FIT Show is a vital platform for showcasing the various skills and training routes for our industry and we will, once again, have representation from multiple providers at the show. Organisations such as GQA play a pivotal role in helping to train and up skill our existing workforce, as well as attracting new talent to the industry and helping to tackle the growing skills gap.”
