Nuclear qualifications

These qualifications provide individuals with the knowledge and skills to work within the Nuclear Industry.

Competence qualifications:

  • Are achieved in the workplace and usually based on National Occupational Standards
  • Enable individuals to demonstrate their skills in a wide range of roles and activities in the Nuclear Industry

Knowledge qualifications:

  • Provide the underpinning knowledge to support entry into the workplace

These qualifications are supported by the National Skills Academy Nuclear (NSAN).

No previous qualifications are required, however, at Level 3 and above it is expected that learners will have a fundamental level of experience and induction of the sector.

If you need to obtain a CSCS card but do not have the relevant qualification, please contact us and we will advise you what you need to do.
