The qualification has been developed for achievement in a real workplace environment for those carrying out Air Permeability Testing using the Low-Pressure Method. Achievement of this qualification enables the learner, to demonstrate and recognise skills, knowledge and understanding to be able demonstrate competence in understanding air tightness testing in domestic housing. This qualification is at Level 3 and should be taken by those who are fully trained to deal with routine assignments. Candidates should require minimum supervision in undertaking the job.
