This level 2 qualification provide recognition of the skills and knowledge of individuals who work in a Signmaking environment. It will cover health and safety; effective working relationships and communicating information. Signmakers design, make and fit all types of signs for commercial and non-commercial use, such as, road traffic signs, signs for business premises, indoor and outdoor exhibition displays, shop fronts, and designs for vehicle bodies. Work as a signmaker would be likely to involve working with a range of materials, tools and equipment.
