This qualification is aimed at those who work as glaziers, installing glass into frames (e.g. windows, doors), and those who work to maintain glazing installation (usually windows and doors). The standards cover the most important aspects of the job. This qualification is at Level 6, and should be taken by those who are experienced, capable of dealing with a wide range of problems, including working with complex glazing installations. Candidates may often take a supervisory role in relation to inexperienced workers. They will also work closely with customers and have well-developed customer services skills.
