This qualification is aimed at individuals wishing to prove they have the level and range of knowledge and skills required to carry out damage repair and resurfacing in a construction working environment. Candidates must demonstrate the skills required when repairing and resurfacing damaged area including mixing, preparing, inspecting, polishing and blending. Candidates must be able to prepare and apply filler/compound to repair area and finish off to correct profile to match existing surface, to given working instructions, relating to texture, colour and hue and substrate and strength. All work must be completed following Industry recognised Safe Working Practices and in accordance with relevant legislations.
