GQA Article in Relation to COVID-19

Following the government’s announcement of 23rd March about the measures needed to deal with the increasing severity of the spread of the COVID-19 virus, GQA Qualifications Ltd took the decision to close its offices with immediate effect. Until further notice all staff will be working from home with a review to take place at the appropriate time to determine when normal service can be resumed. The health of our staff and associates remains of paramount importance to us during this time.

Whilst it will not be possible to offer our normal office service, we fully intend to continue to support the centre network where activities continue, with access to GQA Online fully available, enabling centre personnel to request registrations, certifications, cards and amendments as normal. Unfortunately there will be an impact on physical certificate and card issuing, as we will look to carry out this activity 1 day per week (Thursday’s) during the closure; please note that this activity will be wholly dependent on the availability of mail delivery solutions and the availability of staff at centre premises to receive any parcels from GQA.

Your External Quality Advisor (EQA) will still be available by email and telephone unless you are informed otherwise and you should direct any enquiries to them. Information on continuing assessments during this period can be found within the attachment.

Other enquiries should be made by email as follows:

caroline@GQAQualifications.com –  Finance
• info@GQAQualifications.com –  General Enquiries
• cscs@GQAQualifications.com –  CSCS specific enquiries
• sean@GQAQualifications.com –  Quality Monitoring

We will continue to monitor the situation, reviewing regulatory and Government advice, and provide any updates appropriately, in the meantime if you have any queries at all, then please do not hesitate to contact us using the details above or by contacting Sean Hayes (Operations Manager) or myself on our normal mobile numbers.

Please do take care during this time and I look forward to seeing the situation progress positively very soon.
