Master Fitter Challenge back for FIT Show 2021
The recent announcement that the FIT Show would revert to a bi-ennial event brought a tinge of disappointment in that any opportunity we have as an industry to get together is a good thing. I do understand the reasoning behind the decision of course, and we are fully behind the next event.
The 2021 FIT Show will also see the latest Master Fitter Challenge reach its conclusion. The application process will start in late spring this year with the format of the challenge being finalised as we speak.
It promises to be another exciting event with installers from across the UK testing their knowledge and physical skills on a range of installation challenges involving the full spectrum of material choices from within the industry.
Each year we try to raise the standard of the competition even further, setting different challenges and looking for different skill sets, and each year we have seen those who enter reach new levels.
It is a hugely rewarding process for the team at GQA Qualifications as competition managers, and for all those who enter to see their level of competency, their skills, and their dedication to their trade recognised and rewarded by external judges.
We will announce the formal application process in due course, and we look forward to joining the rest of the industry at FIT Show 2021.
